The Aldrich will be closed to the public May 26 through June 6 for installation of The Aldrich Decennial: I am what is around me.
Thank you for your interest in Camp Aldrich - Week 3 is sold out.
Join us at The Aldrich for a full-day, week-long arts experience where campers explore the Museum’s three-acre campus and Sculpture Garden, learn in the galleries, and incorporate the world around them into their art.
Each week, campers will be guided through art-making workshops and activities led by a seasoned classroom and museum educator and our dedicated team of camp counselors.
Weeks are tailored to specific age groups for the ultimate creative learning environment.
Each session culminates in a celebration for family and friends on Friday evenings, displaying works of art that the campers developed throughout the week.
Your campers will explore the following exhibit at The Aldrich this summer:
The Aldrich Decennial: I am what is around me | June 7, 2026 to January 10, 2027
Get ready for something really special! The Aldrich Decennial is the debut of a ten-year survey of new art made in Connecticut spotlighting the work of over 30 artists. We’re filling every corner of the Museum—all of our indoor galleries plus the Sculpture Garden—so your campers will have opportunities to learn about and be inspired by a wide array of work to fuel their own creativity. As the state’s only institution focused solely on contemporary art, this exhibition is a celebration of our local art scene and the artists who have chosen to make Connecticut their home.
